For those who live in Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta...would you be willing to attend a "neutral" game in your city (and pay the same ticket prices) if the opponent were San Houston State, Louisiana-Monroe, or New Mexico State?

Be honest.

Now consider paying for three of these each year while watching Oregon, TCU, North Carolina, Wisconsin, etc. play hundreds of mile away.

I believe everyone here understands the exposure LSU receives by playing a neutral site game. What's aggravating is those who support LSU the most through revenue & attendance are the same group who is being taken for granted.

Maybe the OOC home games should be $20/ticket and the games in Dallas, Houston, etc. could be $500/ticket. Then those who say the season ticket holders complain too much can share in the burden.

I have season tickets. What makes you think those programs are willing to do a home/away when they can get more money and exposure through a single game?

What is preventing you from attending the game? Would you rather trade off Wisconsin, Oregon, TCU, UNC for ULM?

Almost every season ticket holder I know of is attending the game and is pretty excited about it

Maybe LSU should raise their ticket prices even higher to compete with the top of the SEC

Not sure what part of your post to reply to since I disagreed with it all. So I picked that part...I would be ok with what you described if you throw in 4 SEC games a year. Bama, Auburn, Fla, Ole Miss, any teams really.

I will gladly trade you Wisconsin for 3 cupcakes and 4 SEC games, with the increased cost.

I think people forget how many LSU alumni and supporters live in Texas.
