While I'm emotionally very attracted to the drug testing idea, I cannot support giving the government any additional powers.

I think that drug testing welfare recipients is the one that I am most strongly for.
In other words. Doing so seems far more about making a point that good small government use of resources. And hey, my primary issue with welfare is when it becomes permanent or is being basically fraudulently acquired.
Bottom line. If it were free, I suppose drug testing would make sense.
