If I lived in the city I would drive it to and from work to save gas. I would have a large SUV or truck for long trips.

I'm guessing it'll get less than 50 MPG in city conditions and that real gas mileage for suburbanite commuters will be around 70 MPG. Still pretty good.
It concerns me that their promises seem a little outlandish both in safety expectations and in their financials.
According to what is allegedly their financials, they anticipate that materials costs will be $4k per unit and labor will be $37. There's no mention of the massive costs to own and run a big arse manufacturing plant like that.
It also looks like their numbers are based on selling 68k units in year one and then climbing to 250k units soon after that. As a point of reference, Volvo sold 61k vehicles (all models) in the US in 2013. Toyota sold 112k Tundras in the US last year.
