Don't be so obtuse. The issue isn't that they were black. The issue is whether they voted in the Dem primary a few weeks back, then voted in the GOP runoff yesterday. Black, white or in-between, if you voted in the primary for one party, the law does not allow you to vote in a runoff for the other party.

Seems to me, though, that poll workers should have been able to tell people that they were not allowed to vote. It should be fairly simple to create a list of eligible voters for the runoff, and if your name isn't on it, then you can't vote.

How does the Mississippi law even allow this? In NJ you can't change your party registration after 40 days before the election. Only independents can declare for a party on election day.
