this could be a very interesting spin. i would rather them hold off on barry using the treadmill so early. this show seems like it will be way more sci fi than Arrow. they did show ferris air center, so could GL be in their plans?

I don't see them jumping into time travel this season, and hopefully don't even mention it out loud (so to speak) until at least the last half of season 2 or season 3 (if that's the route they want to go down). Heck, I think they should probably hold off on some of their crazier characters (like actually seeing Grodd or even a GL) for a little while until the audience has had a chance to get acclimated to this new meta-powered world. But since they have already thrown out the term meta, just about everything in the DC universe is on the table (although some of it would have to be somewhat reconned for tv).

I have a feeling in terms of Grodd you wont actually see a gorilla for awhile. He will probably appear as a person at first and hes controlling that person telepathically. Then Barry will discover its a gorilla. I think that limits the huge expense and also gets people more comfortable with a giant, super powered gorilla.

The final scene of the pilot kinda indicates time travel will at least be present in season one.
