hope everyone who sees this decides to put the phone down while driving...all of us have done this same exact thing...probably even this morning going to work.

while i agree that texting and driving is very dangerous and people should not do it, it is not what happened here.

Although I agree we should not be using our phones in the car, the article says several times the driver had an asthma attack/was coughing.

I've noticed the number of people (mostly women actually) driving while staring at their phone has gone way up the last couple years. The rise of the smart phone and the ability to text or surf the web while on the go is making our roads a far more dangerous place.
