Personally, I would MUCH prefer he works hard on a legit post game/back to basket game. I don't want him all the way out there.

But it sounds like that's what he's working on, so it is what it is.

He could be aiming for a Dirk with defense career, which would be fantastic. It would also force us to get a legit center.

My thoughts exactly. I'd rather he spend the extra time on his low-post game and continuing to improve his mid-range jumper and mid-range face-up game. Put off extending his range to the 3 point line for one more year.

He may work on that later on in his career.

LeBron for example did not have a legit postgame until 8 years later in his career. Durant still has no post game 7 years in his career. AD would likely work on it earlier than that.
