The market will decide soccer's popularity
Until the USA can get a soccer league that pulls in the best talent in the world like in MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL; it won't enough to justify investments from the businessmen who would need to make it happen.

That's not as relevant as a lot of people think. Soccer in this country is growing for a lot of reasons and MLS is only one of many.

You mean like Falcons owner Arthur Blank? Or the Yankees ownership? Or New England's Robert Craft? Or David Beckham? ESPN? Fox?The investments are being made. You just haven't heard about it yet. You will in 4 years when MLS is mainstream.
