I've watched about every World Cup match, and I hate soccer. Have enjoyed the shite out of it, and won some solid money off the games, too.

It's the World Cup, it's once every 4 years like the Winter/Summer Olympics. Hell we watch the shite out of CURLING because it's once every 4 years and it's the USA. Not a knock on soccer, just the truth, at least for me and probably most people.

World Cup is as rare as the Olympics and tons of people watch shite they couldn't care less about the next 3 years whether it's Water Polo or Curling or swimming or whatever else, because it's a rare event and it's the USA on the biggest stage.

I would never watch an MLS game or follow a team just because I'm not a big soccer fan and the league is shitty and 2nd/3rd rate compared to the top leagues. I saw an article a few months ago that ranked the top soccer leagues in the world and the MLS was 10th. I relate that to being Canadian and going to watch/follow the CFL. Overseas they laugh at how shitty the MLS is while they have the top players and leagues, and for american football we have the NFL and college and even HS that shits on say the CFL that we all make fun of.

No. Not even man. Who do you think plays in the CFL? Maybe the very top college teams would be on par but High Schools dude? Not a chance.
