where are the preservationists to preserve this late 1960s suburban-mexican-american architecture?

i really liked those puffy tacos they had. really good and dam just a lot of good options there. im not sure why people dont care or put tt down. 46 years of tacos is a lot of tacos and history. lot of metairie got their first taste of mexican food there. 46 years is a lot older than most restaurants are going to make it. tt was an exception

I will miss it, esp. the 49 cents tacos on Sundays.

But the one on Williams is staying open.

And that's the one THAT HAS A DRIVE-THRU, unlike this location.

I got my first taco there. I remember the local kids show in New Orleans serving the kids Taco Tico tacos and they had to teach them the correct way to eat them - "just like a hot dog".
