Lindor took a groundball to the face during Wednesday's contest for Double-A Akron, MiLB.com reports.
Spin: A sharp grounder experienced a bad hop, hitting Lindor directly in the face. The nature of the ailment is unknown, but the shortstop prospect is undergoing X-rays, which should impart a timetable for his next outing. On a fortunate note, he appears to have avoided a concussion.
