Quintus, haha good question. I just re-skimmed over Darban’s slides and realized they’re still better than at least 3 of the 6 classes I’ve taken. Shoot me an email (kikicub7 at gmail.com) and I’ll send them your way if you’re actually interested in taking a peek. I thought the textbook was pretty good (2011)- it discussed things like the rise of Bill Gates, Netflix, and actual modern day examples of BIS like how Zara used it in their vertical integration to get way ahead. I thought the content was actually pretty interesting and it’s still the only class I’ve taken to date that has discussed/introduced a lot of the critical business frameworks/theories from the likes of Porter, Argyris & co.
