I would go finance and get PMP certification. If you are in the construction industry, work for a respectable company, and you are successful currently then that should be enough for career advancement and an online MBA in PM would be pointless imo.
I suggest finance only for the fact that if you ever shift from construction to lets say real estate and/or development it will provide you with an actual understanding of the basics to succeed in that industry.
I do not have an MBA, but recently made the shift from the construction industry to commercial real-estate and development. I'm required to know a lot about the financial aspect of the deals and honestly I feel left behind by other who are more knowledgeable on the finance side but may struggle on the PM side.
Good luck with your decision and think outside of the construction box, you never know where you may actual end up.
