If anyone is taking ISDS 710 (Data analytics) with Darrat this session, the page is up and it seems like the class may have been restructured. Previously on the forum, I've read that the course was more marketing based and used the text book "Data-Driven Marketing: The 15 Metrics Everyone in Marketing Should Know". Now it is centered around the programming language R and the textbook is "An Introduction to Statistical and Data Sciences via R".
Has anyone taken this class recently? Is this the normal structure and is the class difficult?

I also noticed some differences, as there were previously complaints about the final throwing curveballs, but the class no longer has a final. I don't particularly like walking in "blind" as it were, but I guess I don't have much choice now. I believe we may end up being the guinea pigs for this new format. I just hope it's not too bad.
