Hi All! I'm trying to register for my classes and when I hit save cart to try to finalize my schedule it says for each class registration date not available for this class. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Registration is open for me, I'm not sure why I can't checkout my cart? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you add the correct term before registering? The site was crushing for about 30 mins but appears to be working now.

Not sure if your issue has been resolved but I had trouble registering for classes earlier this morning. I was able to finally get registered about 45 minutes ago.

I’ve been trying all night and it will not take me to the final screen after save my cart. Constantly getting an error of registration date not available for the classes i select. Now none of the classes are available...

So I spoke with the registrar's office this morning, and they did confirm there has been an issue with the system they had to fix. They shared that quite a few students experienced this where it affected their registration, and there were lucky ones who didn't have the issue.
After dealing with all this, I was finally able to secure a few classes, however need one more pairing and would love to get some insight into what to pair with my AP2 class.
AP1
Acct 701 - Huang
MADM 701 - Williams
AP2
MADM760 - Kim
I originally had. ISDS 705 Lin, but the class is now full due to the errors, so I appreciate any thoughts on what additional to pair.

I believe Vines Fin 701 is structured the same as Lin's class. Someone can chime in and confirm.

Any suggestions on what to pair with MADM760? Not really looking for feedback on Lin's ISDS class as it's full. I'll aim to schedule it the next term.

Lin has 3 exams and Vines' class is broken into 4 exams, based on posts. I believe he uses his own notes, so that seems to be the issue some students have with him.

Took McLaughlin for MADM701 and thoroughly enjoyed her course. Absolutely wonderful professor: very responsive, helpful and assignments are very straightforward. You will learn a lot. To be very honest, she is one of my favorite professors in the entire program. Just great all-around.

Hi all. Just starting the MBA program and I've been using the ongoing Excel file as a guide. I also see lots of questions around what classes to pair up and which ones not to. Are there any main "definitely pair up" or "definitely don't" recommendations? Would love maybe that as another tab on that doc. Thanks for creating it as it's been super helpful.

Personally, I wouldn't pair Kim MADM 760 with another one. The course load wasn't overwhelming, however, most weeks were about 8 hours or so of work (weekly reading, lectures, and supplemental videos) + either a written case study review or analysis (which you have to find supporting sources for and format in APA, which was a pain) + most weeks after the first couple will also include a portion of a product due + a weekly test. I pulled a 98%, so granted, I spent about 2 hours each week prepping for the exam. Just a heads up in case you're someone who wants to get a high grade vs. just getting through it. Again, not overwhelming, but it isn't a class that was screaming to be paired.

Thank you for the info. If you HAD to pair it up, do you think MKT 701 is a good pair? I’m really aiming for 2 classes each AP session as i have a lot of evening and weekend availability.

Personally, I wouldn't pair MKT and MADMs but that's me. You can get away with pairing Vines FIN 701 if you can deal with his notes.

I second EyeOfToday. If you HAD to pair, I would pair it with one of the more numbers-oriented courses. I can attest that FIN 701 with Kim is only a couple of hours a week.
