Downriver tangi was clear on friday, upriver was dirty, but fish were biting. Bring worms also, as i believe fly fishing may be close to over.

As far as specs in lake maurepas, after Katrina, saltwater intruded the lake. Specs and drum were caught at the mouths of all the lake maurepas river tributaries
