i don't think so. Jindal is not stupid by any stretch...he knows he has no shot at 2016

Three thoughts:

1) Rare occurrence where BigJim and I agree on Bobby Jindal.

2) Losing Jeff Sadow as a supporter doesn't really mean loss of influence, but it is loss of his most loyal waterboy.

3) This was all about 2016 for Jindal, which is sad.

There is generally not a lot of daylight between Sadow and I, this issue illustrates that.

Interesting point. He might be looking at Sarah Palin and seeing more of a career in being a right-wing bombast/talking head. It's a departure from what he has been, but I can certainly see that as a viable option.

Jindal's not dumb, but what I've come to realize since about a month before the '07 Gov's election (which I did support and campaign for him) that he a kept EXTREMELY guarded and even isolated by his closest staffers and advisors.

It would not surprise me one bit to learn that despite him barely registering in the early primary poll numbers, that his people are feeding him confidence that he still has a legit shot if he can create the proper national image.
