I've been reading that Lelito is doing very well and taking most of the 1st team snaps. I think Goodwin is just the safety option. I think from their experience from Kruetz, they want to give the potential future the first shot. Kruetz was kind of a panic move, and it potentially lost us a game or two that year. I doubt Goody would have performed as bad as Kruetz (his heart wasn't in it), but if you think it's close, go with the young guy.
It's also been reported that they're high on Lelito, and they want him to win it.
In regards to Armstrong, who knows. I do know that we have one of the larger scouting departments in the NFL, and it's helped us find some small school gems. The roster we've built is a testament to that.

Thanks Patrick, I've heard the same regarding Lelito.
I guess I'm too lazy to try to look it up myself, to see how many of those small-school guys came thru the combine to make an NFL team
Seems like the Saints have always been able to find the unknown guy, whether it's Beerman or somebody like Gil Fenerty; Payton/Loomis have certainly continued the string.
Wonder what Michael Lewis (the Beerman) is doing now?
