Another reason the whole 'America's vote' angle pisses me the frick off. What someone did in the past, that has absolutely NOTHING to do with their gameplay in the house, should have no bearing at all on who goes home.
I think TPTB just feel like they HAVE to do something crazy and edgy each year to attract viewers, which I don't think is the case.

Don't forget that any challenge or twist that involves "America's Vote" is really just..

Personally, I'm a fan of producer influence since, the majority of the time, it pays off in our favor.
At this point, BB's been around so long that most of these cast members try and play it too safe and that would be boring for us. Producers know how to stir the shite so to speak.

i would read the no spoilers thread. I don't get the live feeds and sometimes don't get to watch the shows on time so i'll avoid the spoilers thread.

I started doing that as a way to discuss ONLY what was actually seen on TV. It was nice to not know what was going to happen and provided some good discussion, but last year there were only like 3 or 4 regulars in it. The regular/spoilers thread ended up being like 5 times as long also.
I'd read one and post in it but I don't really wanna start it.

What are the twists and surprise plots they'll unveil in the first two nights?
I hate Grodner is still in. Not sure after last season how she kept her job.

Has she always been the producer? I've only seen about 4 or 5 seasons.

Watching the feeds last year though, it became obvious that they were scared to make any big moves because "what if twist xyz happens." I'd love a season where the twist was no twist, where the players were promised on move in night that there would be no twists the entire season, a completely straight game. I think then we would see stronger game play and not just 16 people floating along afraid to act.

Exactly. The problem now is they got too caught up on past year's players. I did love season 14, but it's not good for the show to live off of past stars.
Last year, America's player was just a way to have Rachel's sister stay in the game longer. She wasn't even trying to play until halfway into the season.

This. No celebrity family members, no former cast members, no stupid twists....just get a bunch of random joes off the street, throw em in a house, let em play.

exactly.. although i wouldn't mind an all-stars edition every 5 years or so.

Add no Big Brother super-fans to that list.

There's always one HG who gets to excited the first night being on BB, makes an arse of themselves and almost guarantees them the 1st evicted person. That's what I look forward to on the first show.
This is usually a male cast member.
