Back in the day I turned down an offer for some poon from a girl that I had always wanted because I thought the then-current gf was something special.

Gf was sick during Mardi Gras our senior year of college. Can't make it to parades Friday, but ok with me going down there with all our friends.
Got tanked at parades, drove back to BR around midnight...
