Tell her that she can absolutely go out there, but to just give you a head's up on if and when she will be going. Probably talk to her a little bit, ask how everything had been going, and basically get closer to her so she will feel comfortable talking to you. More trust will be built that way, and it'll benefit both of yall. It probably won't work, but try and steer her in a better direction. Get her a new job, help her find a place to stay, get new phone #, etc

Doesn't sound like you mind her being there so much, but it does sound like you're worried what will happen to your stuff when her BF gets out of jail.

I'm not worried about her b/f. I'm worried about liability. She's very comfortable talking to me - always has been - i just get the vibe that she views me as some kind of father figure

She is capable of doing all of those things. Not his problem.

I'd let her stay for a week or so, but tell her it is temporary. I assume she lost her child and home in legal issues?
