Do people still put lemon juice in their hair to make it lighter?

I used to do it during the summers to make my hair lighter.

I just had lemon juice on my hand and rubbed my hand thru my hair without thinking. Immediately said shite I hope that doesn't do anything.

Back in the 80's we used lemon juice & then this stuff called Sun In.


Now I just pay $$$ for highlights.

Remember those days. We even put Mane and Tail Horse conditioner in our hair to try to make it grow faster.
