I genuinely believe that drinking and driving could be cut back in this city if we had a reliable, efficient, and accountable taxi service.
This needs to be sold as a public health issue.

A large part of the problem with Uber coming to NOLA is the influence of Malachi Hull. He is the city's taxicab bureau director.
Mr. Hull is a TPOS posing as a politician and his regrettable past actions (related to Uber and in general) are well documented. I am embarassed that he is a fellow alumni of Jesuit HS.
