Without reading through this thread (I'm sure it has been covered already), I call bullshite on 1 billion people watching the WC.

No way 1-in-7 people in this world watch soccer.

Think about all the old arse, 90 year old senile folks out there. They ain't watching the WC. Think about all the women out there, majority of them don't give a frick either. Think about all the poor folks out there living on the streets of Detroit, Guangzhou, Mumbai, etc etc. These folks don't care about some game, they care about getting their next meal, or next high. Does India or China even have a team?
