GTFO with this bullshite.

Are you idiotic or just want to be blind to this fact? Since Wilson transferred from NC St and blew up at Wiscy, it has been a QB FA every single offseason. Did you not see that every QB left Texas Tech this offseason? They were all the same class or one above the starter. One of Oregon's two back ups left, so there is just one guy there after Mariota leaves. I could name others with multiple QBs who have left, but I think you get the point. If he (Oregon QB) gets beat out by a true freshman, he will more than likely scoot too. Guys aren't waiting around anymore if they think they have a better shot somewhere else.

Nothing is set in stone, but you would be a fool to think Jennings wouldn't consider leaving next year if Harris is the starter after 2015 spring. I hope he does stay, but it's a new market out there.

He left because they wouldn't give him a scholarship

No, I'm not idiotic. You referred to two guys that "transferred" after they graduated to make your point. One of which was Wilson, who was an accomplished 2-sport athlete that took the opportunity to go to a superior football program. The others you referred to were guys that literally just got buried on the depth chart. Its not a new phenomenon that guys that have no prospects of playing leave to go somewhere that they do have those prospects. One notable example is Hayden Rettig, former LSU Tiger.

By all accounts, Harris and Jennings are in a tight battle, and will both likely see a good bit of action this year. Further, the depth chart has been cleared, and we will likely not be bringing in a high profile QB in this class. That really leaves 2 viable candidates for next years starter as well (the 2 currently on the roster).

The only way that Jennings leaves is if Harris has a monster year, with some marquee wins, and is not shaky down the stretch-essentially to perform better than any true freshmen QB in recent memory. I just don't see that there is a clear-cut winner by this time next year; additionally, it would serve Jennings just the same to transfer after he graduates, rather than next spring (admittedly, I do not know if he is on pace for that to be a possibility, but would doubt it given that it would only make 5 semesters in school), as he would be eligible to play for that school in the same fall. Depending on the caliber of team he goes to, it would probably be wise to stick around and learn under cam, rather than the future coach.

Here's a tip, don't call people idiots for disagreeing with you and proceed to back up your argument with marginally related examples. So please, provide some examples of guys at top tier programs that were in the two-deep (out of two players) that transferred to other schools in recent memory.
