How many people can really give an honest answer because they have owned most of these over several years with lots of rounds through each them?

I think the same thing every time I see a question like this. Although, whether or not DPMS is a quality manufacturer....I would still not purchase for plain fear of the looks I would get for owning.
Spend $1000 or less on the rifle and the other $500 on the optic. For real, Eotech (I know there are haters out there) has up to $75 rebate that started a couple of days ago.

I have driven less than 1k miles in both a Kia and a Corvette, but I can still tell you which one is a better performer.
