Sorry for your loss BFIV. I've been listen to some of his music and the man could play. Couldn't believe he said wildwood flower was the first song he learned to play.

RB, hope your wife has a full recovery

I recently lost a frat brother from college to pancreatic cancer. He lasted 6 weeks after diagnosis.
He worked out a lot, was still the same weight as he was 25 years ago, never smoked, no drug use, not a heavy drinker. Another frat bro who is a doctor said at the funeral that pancreatic cancer is almost always a death sentence.

Best wishes to his family and friends.

Thanks, gang, for all yall's well wishes. This has been a difficult week. Funeral will be Saturday morning here and there are folks coming in from all over the country. James Alan was very well liked and respected throughout the bluegrass music and Grand Ole Opry community. For anyone who has had to deal with this terrible disease, my prayers go out to each of you.
