Just to put a few things into perspective -- some simple facts from the 2014 Baseball Tournament:

Of the 16 top-seeded schools that entered regionals last weekend, only SEVEN advanced to the Super Regional Round.

4 #2 seeds and 4 #3 seeds advanced, along with a #4 seed.

Of the 8 nationally-seeded schools who were set to host a super regional if they won the regional they were hosting, only THREE advanced to the Super Regional Round.

All four national seeds on the 1/4/5/8 side of the bracket failed to advance, along with #2 Florida.

Long gone are the days where the only truly competitive schools in these regionals are the #1's and #2's.

How many of them were up 4 runs with 6 outs to go to advance to SR?
