There was some guy named Thomas Carey on the ballot too.

Im interested in the voting habits of the Mississippians who read this board.
Up vote if you voted for McDaniel and down vote if you voted for Cochran.
Please don't vote if you don't live in ms and aren't voting in the primary.
ETA: I'm pretty sure I'm still registered as a Republican.

I just drove home from work and saw all the campaign signs here in Hattiesburg so I felt that I deserved to participate in the thread, too.

I didn't vote either. I work in Jackson but am registered in the Independent State of Jones County. McDaniel will carry Jones anyway, I'm sure.

I think McDaniel carries DeSoto. I only saw Thad carrying Hernando in the momentum. I'm curious to see the age breakdown in the vote. An older voter registrar helps the establishment.

You are correct. I was just saying my vote ain't gonna' make or break McDaniel.

You know what? He wasn't that bad of a candidate. Self made millionaire, not a lawyer or politician, conservative, anti-Obamacare.

Cochran wins by a landslide in Hinds.

As expected. He who wins the Memphis suburbs wins this election.

I'm assuming/hoping Cochran squeaks this one out.
The tea party in Mississippi is a joke. Where the frick would that state be without federal largesse supported by significant (non-Mississippian) taxpayer outlays?
Har fricking har.
