Sounds like the wife and I. Ours is 4 now. Your wife sounds smart or overwhelmed. Mine does not like to go,out nearly as much. Nor do I. Hate asking mom to watch our son to go out and drank.

My wife understands what yours may too. Kids don't give a frick about your hangover, and I am less than useless with my son when I am hungover. Wife knows our son will want to climb back in her uterus whenever she feels her worst.

You sound young? What's your age? If all of your friends have no children or just are irresponsible you may need to branch out. Find friends with similar interests meaning kids. Sadly kids are a time when friends begin to drift apart. Like graduation. From high school and college.
