Yep. I would probably use something other than coon piss if you don't care about actually having a coon dog. It just needs some type of job. Anything that burns its nose a little bit will work.

Good to know. The wife probably won't like the idea of coon poss anyway. Any ideas of something else that would work? Just look around in cabelas?
