Go to SLO. Best weather and scenery in the country. I'm as staunch of a conservative as there is... but at the end of the day, it's about my experience as a human being. Whatever surrounding or environment that makes me the happiest is what I care about. I'd move to California(FTR, please don't call it Cali) in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in New Orleans... which is a good compromise that I can live with. But I'd rather be out West.

Agree. People get so butt hurt over politics that they lose track of the truly important things.
Is there a concern over nuclear fall out getting into the water over there? Water is already hard to come by and as new desalination projects start coming into fruition it is critical that their oceans remain clean.
