Not a bad idea, perhaps. They are some racist little motherfrickers. To be fair, in my grand total of 7 days on Oahu, I was told "you're okay, brah. But not the Haoles." My white friends and colleagues who spent any real time there have some pretty bad memories. Apparently there used to be haole beatdown days in the public high schools (for Navy brats at least).
