First time actually being in the Cauldron, did not disappoint. Took some friends,a couple of whom aren't big soccer fans, but we all had a good time, I think. We were obviously hoping to see EPB make his home debut, but he was an unused sub.
New York wasn't in the game for the first 10 minutes, and we managed to get one goal early, but the crossbar prevented us from making it 2. NY came out strong in the 2nd half and Bradley Wright-Phillips added to his now league leading goal total. After that, SKC had the majority of the chances but couldn't get the winner and we split the points.

After the game, fans could go on the field to watch the USA game the big screens, which was a cool for them to do.
Some of the songs you may have heard were "You're a Bastard, Referee", telling then to go back to New Jersey, and "You go down like a Tijuana Whore", among the usuals.

It looked like an awsome atmoshpere on tv. I wish the fans in San Fran would have shown up like this.

Nice. One of my good friends is pretty involved in The Cauldron. Love that stadium, best atmosphere in the MLS.
Had a great time at a USA WC Qualifier there last October.

That stadium looks incredible. The whole watching the US game there thing was pretty cool.

It really is a wonderful place. They are replacing the grass so it worked out well that they could have people on the field and they let people take some grass home as well, I guess.

Rewatching the game now. Can any of you say you were captured in the same frame as Thierry Henry? I can.
