That's kinda what I'm saying. Be selective with the big spending. Spend it where it compliments the big pitching free agent(s) we are building up to get.
Also, Maddon has been wheel barrowing Jose Molina out there for years, and it's not because of his past offensive performance, trust me. I think Martin fits with Maddon perfectly.
