Enadious Tomato Plant Problem...Help You should water every 3 to 5 days.
Yea, 3-5 days is not a good idea here. Not in south La. It has been a really mild summer and I have been able to get away with every other day so far.
You problem might be the actual tomato's as well. I planted my heat set tomato 's already. 3 weeks ago may have been a little late to plant spring tomato's.

Did you spray round up close to plants? That is what it looks like to me. Had that happen to me last year.

I didn't, but the yard guys may have. But the basil next to the tomatoes is doing fine, as are the peppers. But the damn tomatoes are going down.

Overwater. Don't water directly onto plants. Calcium helps with leaf rot. I have 7 in a double 5 gallon bucket system that are gettin big.

That isn't necessarily a water problem...it can be the earliest stages of fusarium wilt (some tomato varieties are resistant to fusarium, some are not). Can also be tobacco mosaic virus or other bacterial problem, or nematodes attacking the roots. Keep watching....look for yellow patches spreading, turning brown, etc.
