If Trey started practicing with the band more often instead of running around playing cliche shitty dad rock with his shitty band they'd be just as good as they used to be
It's Trey's fault. shite it's always Trey's fault, about everything.

Phish 3.0's modus operandi is puzzling.
In Trey's guitar rig video he talks about the loop pedal he has, specifically refering to the infamous one in "Gotta Jiboo." He laughs about how he used to just loop that one sound for 15 minutes, then quickly remarks that they don't do that anymore. Comments like that make it seem like the band isn't interested in long, adventurous jams anymore. But then you have stuff like the 37 minute Tahoe Tweezer, with its five distinct sections and a hose peak reminiscent of the top 1.0 jams, and even more so the absurdly avant garde Superball Storage Jam which clocked in at an hour of pure improv.
