At this point, I do not kids nor am I close to it, but thought id just like to add in a little bit of input. Ill start off by saying I attended public school all throughout my life. Im turning out ok. But at the same time, I would love to send my kids to private school if possible. I want my kids the best oppurtunity to suceed. If that means private school so be it. But I would prefer to find an exceptional public school to put them in. There are good public schools out there. Many times it just depends on the school district

Depends on the city. We send our kids to a very good public school here in Memphis. My wife is a physician and we could send our kids to a private school but our 3 are getting just as good an education in their school as they would a private school. My wife has at 7 doctor friends that have taken their kids out of private and placed them in the same school as our kids. We have family members that send 3 girls to one of the all girl private schools in Memphis and they pay close to $65k a year. I'm sure they're getting a good education but I feel my kids are getting just as good an edu if not better. Plus I want my kids to experience diversity. Their school has that. How diverse can it be when all the kids look them same, drive high end cars their parents buy them and 95% of them are the same race. It's all in what you feel is best for your kids. If it's private then great, if it's public then great.
