Marquise Darensbourg class of 2017 qb prospect from Destrehan. Many believe he's the guy to take the reigns this year and will have college talent all around him on the offensive side of the ball. 6'0" 175 lbs freshman last year.

I like his game. He is a hard worker.

He's got good mechanics for a young kid and he looks full for a 175 lbs kid. I think he's a kid that will probably be 6'3" 200 lbs by his senior year. The coaches at Destrehan believe he could be the best qb prospect they've had.
Destrehan is loaded at the skill positions this year. Will matthews at rb is probably the most underrated football player in the state that I saw last year. Alfred smith, Merritt, and junior john williams are d1 caliber receivers.

i watched him put in work a while back...I immediately thought Ryan Perrilleaux. I have to see him again to see how much he has improved from where he was but yes I was thoroughly impressed.

Probably not the best comparison to make given our experience with him. Oh, to be sure kid was an absolute specimen. But I'm sure people will come out bitching

Just thought I'd mention the kid that will most likely lead one of the best offenses in the state.

Went to the Rummel spring game/pie bowl, Saw some good talent. Wide receiver Ashanti Wheatley cousin of Cyril Grayson, Lsu track runner. Also young cornerback Danove from 2017 class, Tailback Israel Tucker had some great running as well as sophomore tailback Maurice Bailey who had some good runs both are pretty good track stars. I say they are people to keep eyes on. Quarterback Chase fourcade made some nice throws as well.
