I don't know if he forgot how to recruit, or what. I know it's difficult with the academic standards at Tulane and the limited scholarships, but its shocking how bad they've become.

Getting into Tulane as a baseball player is incredibly easy.

As far as the limited scholarships, Jones had a huge advantage, i.e., the Tulane legislative scholarships. He's used them to recruit for years. Last year he had 7-8 players on legislative scholarships. Think about what an advantage that is.

in short, he had no excuses.

Got to have a 28 on the ACT for a legislative scholarship and I don't think you know what you're talking about saying its easy to get into Tulane for baseball players. Not to mention even plenty of kids that can get in can't afford it.
