I spent some time in USVI. Food prices and drinking was outrageously expensive. Rented a condo, nice beach, jeep, etc. It was ok. Lunch for two was always over $70. Dinner always $100+ and it was all blah. In Bangkok, I had a 4 hour dinner at a trendy mid rise rooftop, served authentic Thai in a large bed with limitless Singha, Tiger, and dirty Chang and I think it was $65.

I don't do, nor do I need all inclusive. I'll be fed from wherever I choose to dine that night and I'm having the condo provisioned with food and alcohol for breakfast, light lunches and snacks. Not sure if I ordered enough beer and booze though.

What? The only meal we had over $100 was at the fine dining place right there on the beach in Cruz Bay.
