Until the past 1.5 seasons, the Blue Jackets were consistently terrible and the front office consistently made awful decisions. Attendance of any team outside of the original 6 would follow the same story in that type of a situation. 10+ years of losing will do that most NHL venues. I can't really articulate on the Crew because I don't follow them at all.

Its not a jab, it is what it is but its fairly telling that Columbus made the playoffs in the NHL for the second time this year and the attendance was still terrible.
Im just saying that any prospective owner from a new franchise interested in moving to Columbus is going to look at these things.
