I've got two I used them a bunch early on. I had to edit out so much unusable material to get snippets to relive the occasion. Then in the moment I started finding myself wondering what I can do with the camera to better capture the moment. Then I find myself saying frick this man enjoy the moment before it's gone . Then I quit bringing it out and things got better. They're great cameras but more trouble than there worth for me. Good luck

I get this. Many years ago at a family high school graduation I was asked to video record it. It was a pain. I would have enjoyed it more if I was not playing with the video recorder the entire time. But, that family member is glad it is on video.

How hard is it to turn on and off? If I'm sitting in a deer stand could I just hit a button and it will record right before I take the shot? I would use this in the same manner when fishing or recording a buddy fighting a big fish.

It's simple to operate. The problem is the charging and mounting.

You have to remove the camera from the protective case to charge. Then the battery does not last more than two hours of charge time. Then, you can't see what you're recording unless you buy another accessory, a view finder. Then you have 14 different mounts to keep up with that you never seem to have the right one for the moment.

I have a pelican case brimming with cameras and cases and wires and remotes and SD cards and chargers and screws for mounting. Just opening the case is daunting.

the guy in your pic (TeboW?) probably has someone on his staff to set it all up for him
