I've got two I used them a bunch early on. I had to edit out so much unusable material to get snippets to relive the occasion. Then in the moment I started finding myself wondering what I can do with the camera to better capture the moment. Then I find myself saying frick this man enjoy the moment before it's gone . I get this. Many years ago at a family high school graduation I was asked to video record it. It was a pain. I would have enjoyed it more if I was not playing with the video recorder the entire time. But, that family member is glad it is on video.



How hard is it to turn on and off? If I'm sitting in a deer stand could I just hit a button and it will record right before I take the shot? I would use this in the same manner when fishing or recording a buddy fighting a big fish.
