Not dead set on 380, but the size is what I am more interested in...... I realize most of the compact 9's are similiar in size..... but I am not a big guy, and wear scrubs daily like BP. I have entertained a ankle holster tho. Most of the holster reviews I have read say these 380 holsters are made for units without the laser. I am not hung up on the laser, but want one.

You could easily conceal a small 9mm in scrubs with a good holster. Similar to this:
A small IWB holster with a small 9mm is what I carry, even in gym shorts. As long as the shorts have a string tie you should be good.

Boss, here are some of my thoughts:
1. Check out the Kahr CW380. It is much more inexpensive than the P380 and is dimensionally identical. It only has a few minor differences that separate it from the P380, one of which that it only comes with one mag.
2. Any small 380 will probably have a long trigger pull unless you entertain the idea of the Sig P238. Then you have to bring the thought of a manual safety into your training. It's your call.
3. If you buy a small, single stack 9mm, like my Kahr CM9, there is a more to it than just a slightly bigger gun. There is considerably more metal in the slide and the ammo itself weighs more, making the loaded gun heavier. To sum it up, subcompact single stack 9mms can fit in SOME pockets, whereas a subcompact single stack 380 will fit in virtually ALL pockets.
4. Watch my videos for more info.
