Gotta pay him anyway, and right now he's making the team worse. He's wasted roster spot. No sense in hoping he'll turn it around anymore, either. I hope we DFA him soon.

I'm not familiar enough with DFAs to know but I assume he would make the same amount of money under that scenario. I don't see how it would hurt but I'm sure there are drawbacks
