Agreed. How many college kids get drunk and drive? Most of them. I did it. We could sure use Baranick. Of course, there may have been more to it.

Perhaps he wouldn't have learned his lesson. Perhaps he'd have killed or maimed someone by now. But, hey, we'd be winning baseball games.
