I knew someone would make this flip statement in this thread. Nevertheless, the solution of just "turning off IMessage" isn't as easy as you are making it out to be.

Actually, it takes a few days for other peoples imessage to figure it out for whatever reason, but not sue worthy.

You don't have imessages on the new device. Whats happening is they find out AFTER switching that they are having text issues.
