I think you put way too much faith in the average Joe.

I'd bet the vast majority of people in this country have no idea Hernandez was just charged with two more murders.

Yep.

Also the whole sterling ordeal has been made into a much bigger thing than it should have. Last night Doc was saying he admired this team for going went they went through as if it was some kind of natural disaster. WTF is wrong with people the guy made a few remarks that shouldn't mean anything to anyone...so fricking what.

Probably correct. I'm basing the Hernandez outrage on when his first murder broke back last year not the current news FWIW. If Sterling is forced to sell the team and is out of the league then 10 months or so after that some other racist comments come to light I don't think people will give much of a shite about that either. Out of sight out of mind.
