It would be historic because none of the other LA guys who broke 4:00 did it in Louisiana. Actually, I think sub-4:00 has only been accomplished once in LA.
The sub-4:00 equivalent at 1500m was completed multiple times at the 1992 Olympic Trials. Including 2x by Sulphur's Mike Morin. But for some reason people like the mile better.

yea i dont understand why people pretty much ignore when someone hits the 1500 on pace for sub 4. guess its because we're in america.
